HÍPICA DO CONVENTO DE SÃO DOMINGOS
Actividades oferecidas aos alunos e interessados em equitação
1.Lições de Equitação
Dressage – nível iniciação, médio e superior.
Salto de obstáculos – nível iniciação e médio.
*Nota – As lições são individuais ou para um máximo de 2 alunos e ministradas por Treinador de Equitação certificado pelo Instituto Português do Desporto e Juventude (IPDJ).
2.Estágios (Clinics)
- Igualmente ministrados por Treinadores de Equitação certificados pelo IDP, destinados prioritariamente aos períodos de férias – Natal, Páscoa e Verão.
- Actividades desenvolvidas:
•Prática de maneio de cavalos, material e infra-estruturas equestres.
•Lições de equitação geral – Dressage e Salto de Obstáculos – nos níveis de iniciação e médio.
•Lições de teoria de equitação.
*Nota – São fornecidas as refeições do almoço e lanche.
3.Passeios a cavalo
Por caminhos e trilhas, visita ao Parque Nacional da Arrábida.
Todos os passeios são guiados e acompanhados também por um Técnico de Equitação certificado pelo IPDJ.
Especialidades
-Escolha o atendimento na língua que lhe seja mais confortável.
-Temos cavalos mansos e com temperamento adequado a crianças de todas as idades.
-Os nossos cursos, estágios e passeios a cavalo são programados para promoverem a sociabilização do aluno, a visando também uma integração entre a pessoa e o cavalo, assim como entre todos os participantes das actividades.
-Visamos propiciar a descontracção física e mental como modo de liberar a criatividade e permitir a auto-análise, que conduz à consolidação e fortalecimento da personalidade.
- Homem e cavalo devem integrar-se em torno de sua representação da natureza e manifestação da criação.

Offered activities to students and people interested in equitation:
1. Riding lessons
Dressage - initiation, medium and higher levels.
Jumping Show - initiation and middle levels.
* Note – The lessons are etiher individual or for a maximum of 2 students and will be taught by a Riding Coach certified by the Portuguese Institute of Sports and Youth – Instituto Português do Desporto e Juventude (IPDJ).
2. Training courses (Clinics)
-Also taught by Trainers certified by the IDP riding, intended primarily to holidays-Christmas, Easter and summer.
-Activities:
• Practice of husbandry of horses, equestrian equipment and infrastructure.
• General riding lessons - Dressage and jumping obstacles – initiation and middle levels.
• Riding theory lessons.
* Note – Lunch and afternoon snack are provided.
3. Horse riding
Visit to the National Park of Arrábida, by paths and trails.
All tours are guided and also accompanied by a technician certified by riding IPDJ.

-Lessons in the language you are familiar with.
-We have tame horses with appropriate temperament for kids of all ages.
-Our courses, internships and horseback riding are scheduled to promote the socialization of the student, aiming the integration between the person and the horse, as well as between all participants of the activities.
-We aim to provide the physical and mental relaxation as a way of releasing creativity and allow self-analysis, leading to the consolidation and strengthening of the personality.
-Man and horse must fit around their nature representation and manifestation of creation.
